Managing Dropbox Access

Overview

To use Dropbox through the University of Oregon, you must first add it to your Duck ID account.

Requesting a Dropbox account

Please Note: Your access can take up to four hours to be initiated. When your Dropbox access is ready to use, you will receive an invitation email.

To use Dropbox, you must first add it to your Duck ID account.

  1. Navigate to the Duck ID Account Management Portal.
  2. Click on the Manage Your Duck ID link.
  3. Login using your Duck ID and password.
  4. Under My Profile, click on the View and update profile.
  5. Scroll down to the Request section.
  6. Click on Add Roles.
  7. Check the box next to Dropbox.
    • Note:  If Dropbox is already checked and greyed out, then it is already assigned to your account.
  8. Click Submit.

Closing your Dropbox account

  1. Navigate to the Duck ID Account Management Portal.
  2. Click on the Manage Your Duck ID link.
  3. Login using your Duck ID and password.
  4. Under My Profile, click on the View and update profile.
  5. Scroll down to the Request section.
  6. Click on Remove Roles.
  7. Uncheck the check box next to Dropbox
  8. Click Submit.
