UO Secure-U Training Platform

Overview

The Information Security Office (InfoSec) is pleased to offer all University of Oregon faculty, staff, and students access to the UO Secure-U Training Platform. This platform provides a wide variety of different cybersecurity awareness lessons to accommodate all levels of expertise.

The UO Secure-U Training Platform houses the training that will help you secure your computers, accounts, and data.

How to Access UO Secure-U Training Platform

  1. Navigate to UO Secure-U Training (link will open in a new window)
  2. Log in using your Duck ID.
 

How to take the assigned training in the UO Secure-U Training Platform?

  1. Navigate to UO Secure-U Training (link will open in a new window)
  2. Log in using your Duck ID.
  3. Click on the first module under the "My Training" or "Start Assignment" button to begin the training.
  4. The assigned training will appear under My Training section.
    Depending on the training, the image below will show all training modules that are part of the assignment.
    1. To continue the assignment, the user needs to click Continue Assignment button. 
    2. If the user has not started the assignment yet, the button will say Start Assignment.

  5. Navigating through training modules
    1. After finishing a module in the assignment, click "NEXT >" in the top-right corner to move on to the next module.
    2. Once you complete the final module, "Remote Working: Recognising the Risks," click "X EXIT" to finish the training.

Additional Training

Additional Training is the ability for a user to take training modules that are not part of an assignment. 
Modules that are available for anyone to take are listed under the Additional Training section.
