Preventing Teamsbombing

Overview 

If you or your organization are scheduling a Teams meeting with external users, your meeting or event may be susceptible to Teamsbombing by uninvited/unwanted guests. Learn how to prevent and respond to Teamsbombing when hosting events open to the public. (Teamsbombing is derived from popular reference, Zoombombing.) 

Please report any Teamsbombing incidents to the IT staff in your unit or the UO Information Security Office at infosec@uoregon.edu. Please include:

  1. the day and time of the Teams meeting
  2. the host's UO email address
  3. the estimated time of the interruption
