User Support Service New Hire Support

University organizations, supported by Information Services, User Support Services (USS) use this service to request support when hiring new staff members, to include, but not limited to:

  • Folder access
  • New equipment purchase
  • Department-specific software acquisition

How to Request Support

To request support click Request Support (top right of the page) and provide the requested information.

  • New staff member DuckID
  • Type of support
    • Department Folder Access
    • Department Email Distribution List
    • New hardware
    • Software purchase request
      • Existing site-licensed software
      • New, non-site licensed software
    • Other (please describe)
  • Will new hardware or software, need to be purchased?
    • If new hardware or software, then provide a cost index
    • Describe the hardware/software that is required
  • Location and room of the staff member (if they are on campus)
  • Due Date

Availability and Access

You can expect a response to your request within 6 business hours

Staff who are members of a USS-supported regional office.
