The Information Security Office (ISO) uses this service to notify University IT Staff of potential vulnerability issues.
How to Submit an Advisory
To request support click Submit Advisory (top right of the page) and the ISO Consultant will provide the following information:
On Advisory Creation, the following information is required:
- Responsible IT Technician
- Vulnerability Discover Date
- Vulnerability Severity
When known provide:
- Location and room
- Jack Number
- Hostname
- IP Address
- MAC address
- NetBios Name
- Device Owner
- Operating System
- USS Managed Device
Before Closing the Tictet, the following information is required:
- Responsible Party Reached Date
- Vulernability Remediation Date
- Vulnerability Remediation Method
- If the vulnerability cannot be remediated, provide the ticket number of an Exemption request
Availability and Access
This service is used by the ISO for notification to University IT support staff.
