Drupal Hosting Site Request

UO departments use this service to request the provisioning of a cloud-based site ‘container’ for the development of a new Drupal website or to provide the hosting of a new Drupal website migrated from another platform.

How to Request a Website

To request support click Request Website (top right of the page) and provide the requested information.

  • Site Name (human-readable)
  • Authoritative domain name
  • New or existing website?
  • Site aliases
  • DNS entries
  • Desired redirects
  • Launch date
  • Content owner (VP/Department)
  • Site technical owner (Developer department)
  • Site developer(s) email

Availability and Access

Department IT staff or third-party contractor provides site development and ongoing maintenance.
Websites will adhere to University accessibility requirements.

It is assumed that the site requestor has access to Pantheon and experience with doing development there.  If this is not the case, please contact the Drupal Hosting Steering Committee for a consultation using the Web Development & Hosting Support service of the UO Service Portal.

You can expect a response to your request within two business days.
