Welcome to Microsoft Teams Settings training, the first class in the University of Oregon’s Information Services’ new monthly training series. This month’s class will focus on selected foundational settings for Microsoft Teams, including call forwarding, chat accessibility, and channel notifications.

Training agenda

Join the Information Services training specialist, Melanie Ferstman, for a 60-minute training session on June 26th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Microsoft Teams. Please sign up for the training class using the webinar link in the button above.

By the end of training, you will be able to:

  • Forward Microsoft Teams calls to another extension or to an outside phone line (like a personal phone)
  • Read chats more easily by adjusting accessibility settings
  • Adjust the frequency of their team channel notifications
  • Use settings to manage out-of-office voicemail
