How to remove FortiClient software from Windows.

Process

 

Note: These instructions are for machines that are not centrally managed by the Enterprise Device Management (EDM) group.
For managed machines, the EDM team will push out an uninstall of FortiClient sometime after February 5, 2024.

This procedure requires administrative-level privileges on the workstation or laptop.

  1. Start FortiClient.
  2. Click on the Fabric Telemetry tab, then click on the Disconnect button:

  3. Stop FortiClient by quitting the program.
  4. Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall FortiClient.
