What is my Dropbox quota? Is there a file size limit when uploading files to Dropbox?

Dropbox storage quota

Effective March 26, 2024, UO faculty, staff, and students have a 100 GB storage quota.

How can I check my Dropbox storage usage?

Beginning March 26, 2024, Dropbox users can view their personal Dropbox usage.

  1. Log in to dropbox.com using your UO email address.
  2. Select your profile icon in the upper-right corner, then select Settings.

  3. Select the Plan tab,
  4. View the section Your Dropbox account space.

File Size Limit

  • All users have a 50 GB single file size limit when uploading through the dropbox.com website.
  • There is no single file size limit with the Dropbox app installed on a computer or device. 
  • If using the API, the limit is 350 GB.
