Overview
If your login information is correct and your Mac device is updated, and If you've tried most basic known troubleshooting methods to attempt to connect to UO Secure but it still won't connect, then this article will teach you how to fix the issue in most cases.
Step 1: Forget UO Secure Network
- Select the Wi-Fi icon in the top-right (on the top bar).
- Select Wi-Fi Settings...
- Select Details... if you're currently connected to the network you want to forget, or the three dots within a circle next to it in the Known Networks list, and choose Forget This Network...
If Forget This Network... is greyed out, continue with these instructions:
- Select General on the left-hand side of your Settings window.
- Select Device Management.
- Select either University of Oregon eduroam or University of Oregon UO Secure so it is highlighted.
- Click the – at the bottom of the Settings window.
- Repeat for the other configuration profile.
Step 2: Reconfigure UO Secure Configuration Profile
- Visit wifi.uoregon.edu and select Get connected.
- Follow the on-screen instructions displayed on that site.
