Overview

The EMU Computer Lab space is part of the Technology Service Desk. It is located in Room 042 on the Ground Floor of the EMU.

Lab Hours

For lab computer usage or printing, the lab will generally be open on the following schedule, unless otherwise affected by EMU building hours. 

Fall, Winter, and Spring Terms Summer Term
  • Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
    • 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. during Week 1, Week 10, and Finals Week
  • Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This lab is closed for observed and official state holidays as well as any day that the EMU is closed. ​​If this lab is unavailable and you are looking to print or use a computer workstation, please review the General Computer Lab Information page to find an alternate, open lab on campus. 

Users must log in using their Duck ID in order to use the lab computers.

  • Tech support is available at this location during certain hours and is provided by the Technology Service Desk. 

Printing

Information about printing in the computer lab may be found here:

  • B&W/Monochromatic Printing
    • $0.10 / page, 8.5 x 11 in. (letter size) and 8.5 x 14 in. (legal size)
    • $0.20 / page, 11 x 17 in. (tabloid size)
    • Defaults to double-sided when available
  • Color Printing
    • $0.25 / side, 8.5 x 11 in. (letter size)
    • $0.50 / side, 11 x 17 in. (tabloid size)
    • Defaults to double-sided
  • Single or double-sided at 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution
