Purpose

Installing the Zoom application on your computer or mobile device provides you with additional settings, such as virtual backgrounds or audio settings, that may not be available from the Zoom web portal. For instructions on how to install the Zoom application, see below.

Installing Zoom on Your Computer

Note: If your device is managed by your IT department, please contact your local IT support before installing Zoom.
  1. Go to Zoom web portal
  2. At the bottom, click on the Download Client link
  3. In the Download Center, locate the Zoom Client for Meetings and click the blue Download button
  4. The installer appropriate for your operating system will begin downloading
  5. Once the download is complete, run the installer and walk through the installation steps.

Installing Zoom on Your Mobile Device

iOS

Zoom Cloud Meetings app (Apple App Store link)

  1. Open the App Store on your iOS device
  2. Search for Zoom Cloud Meetings
  3. Click the Get or Download button
  4. Follow the download prompts on your screen to download the application

Android

Zoom Cloud Meetings app (Google Play/Android Store link)

  1. Open the Google Play Store
  2. Search for Zoom Cloud Meetings
  3. Click on Install
  4. Follow the download prompts on your screen to download the application

After you've installed the Zoom application, you can start the Zoom application and sign-in.
