Adobe Firefly is a web-based generative AI tool that can generate and edit images and video. It can also create templates, vector graphics, and text effects, and recolor images.

Accessing Firefly
Adobe Firefly is available as a standalone app solely through its website: firefly.adobe.com.
Authenticated users are allowed 1,000 monthly generation credits in accordance with Adobe's site-license agreement with UO.
Features
Adobe Firefly can generate images, video, and audio, and use several design palettes.
Images
- Images can be edited and generated using prompts.
- Compositions can be generated for product visualizations and architectural renderings.
- Generative match can apply the style of one image to a new generated image.
- Sketches can be converted to digital artwork as well as cartoon generation.
Video
- Video can be edited and generated based on prompts to a wide range of resolutions and aspect ratios.
- Images can be converted into video clips for pitching ideas, b-roll, or visual effects.
- Images, sketches, and text can be converted into animated videos.
- Videos can also be translated into more than 20 languages.
Audio
- Audio can be edited and generated based on prompts as soundtracks and speech to your video files.
- Sound effects can be generated from prompts or reference audio files (either recorded or through your microphone)
- Translation from English to Spanish and French (and vice versa) are also possible.
Design palettes
- Content can take on a specific design palette based on a wide variety of physical media including an AI painting generator, art generator, tattoo generator, and pixel art.
- Drawing palettes and character generation are also possible.
