Overview
The following is a guide on how to install the AppWorx Job Scheduling client.

Prerequisites
Automatic Update
For most end users, a software update should happen automatically.
- The first time you launch AppWorx after an upgrade, the application should auto-update.
- If that doesn't work, please follow the guidance below.
Alternative Installation Instructions
If the auto-update fails, then follow the instructions below based on who manages your computer.
Note: The new version of AppWorx can't be installed before an upgrade or it will overwrite the current version.
A) If your computer is managed by IS User Support Services.
- Open the .
- Search for
AppWorx
.
- Select the version of AppWorx to install (most recent version following an upgrade).
- Click the green Install button.
Do I?: Not sure if your computer is managed by USS? In Windows search, type Software Center
. If you can launch that app and it shows USS in a green bar across the top of the window, then your computer is managed by USS.
B) If your computer is managed by a different UO IT team.
Your IT team will install the new version or otherwise ensure you receive the upgrade. Please with any questions.
C) If you manage your own computer.
Note: You must have Administrative privileges for your device in order to install this client. If you do not, reach out to your
IT support team.
If you have administrator privileges on your computer, use these instructions to download and install the new version of AppWorx:
- Connect to UO VPN.
- Visit the .
- Follow the instructions.
Common Issues
If you receive the following prompt:

- Click More Info.
- Click Run Anyway.
- Select Open if another prompt comes up.
macOS
macOS will be supported with version 9.6.0. Installation instructions will be made available prior to the upgrade.
