How do I connect to UO Secure on my Windows devices?
Solution
To connect to UO Secure manually:
- Connect by selecting the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and selecting UO WiFi Setup.
- A window in your default web browser will pop up. If it does not, open your web browser and navigate to https://cloud.securew2.com/public/49980/UO_Secure/
- Click the JoinNow button to download the installer.
- Run the installer (which can be found in your downloads folder).
- Enter your Duck ID username (first part of your @uoregon.edu email address) and Duck ID password, then hit Next. Once the program completes, you should be connected to UO Secure.
- The program will automatically connect you to UO Secure. If it doesn't, select the Wi-Fi icon on your top bar once more, and try reconnecting to UO Secure.
- If the connection fails again, make sure that the settings for the network are as follows:
- EAP method: PEAP
- Phase 2 authentication (if listed): MSCHAPV2
- CA certificate: Use system certificates (default)
- Domain (if listed): uoregon.edu
- Identity: Your Duck ID (the first part of your UO email, before the @)
- MAC Address (if listed): Phone
- Anonymous Identity: Leave blank
- Password: Your password associated with your Duck ID
