The tables below outline telecommunications billing rates per month unless otherwise stated. If you have departmental billing questions call 541-346-6387 or submit a ticket via the Voice Services Support service.

Rates are billed by UO and non-UO affiliations.

Amazon Connect

Contact Center (call center) for departments and programs. There is a one-time fee to begin, then a monthly, ongoing charge.

One-time setup fees

This does not apply to existing users. We can quote in advance. Rates are based on $125.00 per hour.

  • $350 (minimum) for basic setup - no menus, simple call distribution (round-robin), no priorities.
  • $425 for medium setup - includes priorities, basic menus.
  • $500 for full setup - includes a menu layer, call hold queue.

Monthly fees

Reactivate fee

$60.00 for basic reactivation (without changes) within 30 days of cancellation.

Please Note: Usage above 8,000 minutes per month will be billed at a rate of $100.00 for every 2,500 minutes.

Please Note: Unique or custom solutions are quoted at labor rates below. Typical moves/adds/changes are flat-rate.

Refund Policy

It is, and always has been, the departments responsibility to review your monthly bill for any errors. You can view your bill here through Webbill

If you have any problems accessing your bill, or need to add/remove people to have access to your department phone bill, please submit a ticket via the Voice Services Support service.

  • Any refund request can only date back for the current fiscal year.  If the refund in question is for deleted lines, etc., the submitted deletion ticket number is preferred for reference. Refunds will only be for the actual item in question.

Glossary of terms

  • Utility Phone: price includes dial tone with associated direct-in-dial extension number and desk set or wall set, local, network and long distance calling capability.  Voicemail is available upon request.
  • Service Order Charge: price for a standard service order, which covers 15 minutes of programming time, 15 minutes of technician's time and all other processes to finish the order. Call 346-NETS for further information.
  • Technician's Hourly Rate: price per technician/hour. Does not include supplies which are billable back to the department for work done.
  • Telecommunications Programming Rate: per programmer per hour
