Overview
The steps below will guide you through the process of recovering a Teams channel that was deleted or accidentally deleted.
Note: You need to have the owner role to complete this process.
Process
- Go to the team where the channel existed.
- Next to the team name, click More options (…) → Manage team.
- Select the Channels tab.
- At the bottom of the list, you’ll see Deleted channels.
- Find the channel you want to restore and click Restore.
The channel (with all its files, conversations, and tabs) should come back in the team.
