This article describes the process of uninstalling the Cisco Secure Client on a macOS or Windows device. 

Uninstalling the Cisco Secure Client

macOS Process

  1. Open the Finder and navigate to the Applications folder.
  2. Navigate to the Cisco folder and double-click on the Uninstall Cisco Secure Client application. You may be prompted to enter an administrator username and password.
  3. Follow the guided uninstaller to remove the application from your device.
  4. Restart your computer to finalize changes.

Windows Process

  1. In the Windows search bar, search for Control Panel and open the associated app.
  2. In the Control Panel search bar, search for Uninstall and open the Uninstall a Program option under Programs and Features.
  3. Find the Cisco Secure Client on the list of applications, right-click it, and choose Uninstall. You may be prompted to allow administrator access to run the Uninstaller.
  4. Follow the guided uninstaller to remove the application from your device.
  5. Restart your computer to finalize changes.
