SAIT Equipment Checkout

SAIT Professional Staff use this service to checkout equipment including:

  • Laptops
  • Projectors
  • Card scanners
  • Other small devices

How to Request Equipment

To request equipment click Request Equipment (top right of the page) and provide the following information:

  • Short title
  • List of items requested
  • Need date
  • Do you want equipment delivered or picked up
  • When you will return the equipment
  • Agree to terms of use

Availability and Access

Professional Staff employed by the Division of Student Life and other departments supported by SAIT. Professional staff members should request equipment on behalf of their student employees.

Equipment may be checked out by ASUO-recognized Student Groups for use in ASUO-recognized student events.

  • Items can be reserved up to 60 days before your event and must be reserved a minimum of 48 hours before your event. 
  • Maximum 7 day checkout period.
  • Renewals of borrowed items can be arranged 24 hours before the due date, if no prior reservations for the item conflict.

The checkout pool is limited resource designed for short-term needs. If your position requires regular, routine access to these devices to complete your job duties we recommend purchasing a device dedicated to your use. Items are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot guarantee availability of all requested devices but will attempt meet your needs.

SAIT will schedule delivery or pickup time. If you are not available for this appointment to accept this device, please contact us to make alternate arrangements. If we do not hear from you within an hour of our scheduled time, your reservation will be cancelled.

It is the responsibility of the borrower to note the date and time the devices are due for return. It is very important that items are returned as scheduled, as they will be reserved for other users. Failure to return items promptly as scheduled will result in removal of checkout privileges.

While items are checked out to you, they are your responsibility. Items should always be kept in a secure location. In the event that a device is damaged, lost or stolen please contact SAIT immediately. Your department may be charged for repair or replacement the device.
