SAIT and Housing New Employee/Account Setup Request

SAIT (Division of Student Life IT) and Housing IT personnel use this service to request access for new employees including:

  • Classified staff
  • Officers of administration
  • Faculty
  • Student employees

How to Create a Ticket

To request support click Request Access (top right of the page) and provide the following information:

  • Department
  • Type
    • Staff-Faculty, Classified, Temp
    • Student-Student Employee, GTF, Intern, Department/Role account
    • Other
  • Employee full name
  • DuckID
  • Start date
  • Office Location
  • Room Number
  • Other requests, or special instructions

Availability and Access

Employees of the Division of Student Life or other departments that are supported by SAIT and employees supported by Housing.

Account requests are a complex process that involves tasks happening in the department, in Payroll, in HR and in Information Services and SAIT/Housing IT.

Please allow for at least 24 hours for processing after this form is submitted. If the form is submitted prior to your new employee start date, the process is often able to be completed more quickly with time allowed for coordination.

For new department or role-based account requests, we generally have those completed in 5 business days.
