This article explains how to create review records in Banner PWAREVW.

Information

For consistency and visibility of faculty review schedules, all schools and colleges must enter and maintain review dates in Banner using the PWAREVW screen. These dates serve as the official source for tracking completed reviews and planning future reviews.

Responsibilities

Schools and colleges are responsible for ensuring that review dates accurately reflect:

  • Tenure and post-tenure plans for faculty
  • Review schedules for career faculty

The University of Oregon uses this data to:

  • Track completed reviews
  • Anticipate upcoming reviews
  • Validate review schedules

Types of Reviews Tracked in PWAREVW

  • Annual review (pre-tenure)
  • Midterm review (sometimes called contract renewal or third year review)
  • Tenure decision expected
  • Tenure decision required
  • Third-year post-tenure review
  • Sixth-year post-tenure review
  • Career faculty performance reviews
