Issue
Xerox printer prints faded documents despite having sufficient toner. Other users get the correct saturation when printing to the same printer.

UO-managed macOS laptop
Description
Printer does not work with my laptop. When I enter the [accounting] number it prints but only lightly.
Resolution
This issue usually occurs when Toner Saver is accidentally toggled or toggled by default when adding a new printer.
- In the Word print dialog box, scroll down to the Printer Options drop-down menu and expand it
- Select the circled "i" next to Xerox Features
- It should bring up a window that is already in the Paper/Output category. Under Print Quality, make sure Enhanced or Standard is selected and not Toner Saver
- Submit the print job and verify the correct saturation has been achieved.
If you wish to save the new settings for future print jobs, you can save the settings as a printer preset (Apple Support).
