Overview
The Wharton Research Data Service (WRDS) is a cloud-based set of tools designed for business intelligence, data analytics, and provides a research platform. Users have access to 350+ TB of data and 600+ databases from 50+ data providers. It is available for Lundquist College of Business (LCB) faculty and post-graduate students. This service requires account setup with service provider and approval by the LCB WRDS account manager.
How to gain access
- Create an account with WRDS by visiting their website
- In the upper right-hand corner of the site, click on the Register button.
- Complete the web form using your University of Oregon email address, for example, yourduckid@uoregon.edu
- When completed, a request will be sent to the LCB WRDS account manager(s), who will determine your eligibility and approve or deny access.
