Importing Activities from Standalone ANVILL to ANVILL-in-Canvas

Overview

In 2020, it became possible to integrate ANVILL into the Canvas learning platform. Before then, ANVILL users only had the option to use the standalone web-based version (i.e. not integrated into any learning platform).

If you have made the switch from the ANVILL standalone version to using ANVILL-in-Canvas, you may want to import old activities from your ANVILL library. 

Process

1. Create a new lesson (module or assignment) in Canvas (if necessary)
2. Click Activity Library. and select + Add Content
3. Choose the activities that you want to import on the left by clicking on the + button
   
4. You can see which activities you selected at the top. When you’re ready to add them, click the Import button.
5. Your activities are now imported into your lesson.
