Webmail: Changing the User Interface

This article will provide step-by-step instructions on how to update the layout in Webmail, a feature of the Webmail update launching May 27, 2020.

Follow This Step-by-step Guide to Change Your Webmail Layout

  1. Log into Webmail using your Duck ID credentials
  2. Click on the gear icon  labeled Settings located on the left sidebar
  3. Make sure you are on the Preferences tab. It should auto-default to be on this tab when you click Settings.
  4. Click on User Interface.
  5. Scroll until you see Interface Skin. You will have three layout options to choose from. The default skin is the Elastic option:
    • The Classic option - the basic design for Webmail.
    • The Elastic option - select this if you wish to have the newest Webmail design. This is the design Webmail will default to unless otherwise changed.
    • The Larry option - choose this if you wish to revert your layout to resemble the recent Webmail interface. Image shows the three layouts the user can select under Interface skin. The layouts "Classic", "Elastic", and "Larry" are all available.
  6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save to save your changes.
Please Note: These instructions are the same, no matter which layout you choose to have. The only difference is that with the Classic and Larry interfaces, the Settings button is located on the top-right of the screen, instead of the sidebar on the left.
